Hello, this will be my first post ever since creating this blog a whole ten minutes ago!
So, I've been at University for about a year now and like many other students, I forgot to start up a blog tracking my work. :/ whoops. BUT, that has all changed now, as you can see I have my very own blog which I will (try to) update religiously whenever I produce new work.
Let's start off with the first module, we had to do perspective drawings, a filming task, a simple animation and a photography task. Below is some of the work from module one. Enjoy!
Here is the pose to pose animation we did. The idea was to introduce us to animation, something I had previously not been interested in at all. We had to animate someone, or something doing a simple, repeatable task and thus 'Girl Skipping' was born. It may not look like much but I am very proud of my first animation, this 12 or so framed animation gave me hell, HELL! However, when i put the images together my characters which have always been so flat and still were suddenly moving and I loved it. I really hope this link works, I had to journey deep into my files to find it.

For the photography assignment we had to find letters and faces in the environment, places or objects that told a story and find interesting types of architecture. The above are some of the photos i took that i felt told a story.

These were some of the architecture shots I took around Liverpool and Yate. I especially like the Clayton Square entrance in Liverpool, it's such and oddly stunning structure full of quirkiness and character. It looks so out of place when compared with the ordinary dull building that stand beside it. I will continue with the photography assignment in a different post as this one is getting a bit too long. See ya :)
